Delcam推出全新机床精度检测软件NC-Checker |

Delcam日前推出全新机床精度检测软件NC-Checker,该软件适用于范围广泛的常用机床的在机检测,提供了一种快速简便的机床精度检测方法。它可用来在加工开始前确认机床精度以及生产过程中检测因加工运作如磨损或温度变化而造成的任何机床精度改变。
用户可首先使用NC-Checker来校准测头,并对照已知基准件如球形测规或3个球所组成的球形测规组来校准机床,随后软件即自动产生一系列的探测路径并进行运行测试,确保机床运行正常。这种测量方法和通过机床控制器中的宏来进行机床精度检测的常规检测方法相比,检测次数更多,因此得到的结果更准确。
NC-Checker检测可在生产过程中的任何时候、任何阶段进行,其频率视产品复杂程度、产品的价值以及产品精度要求而定。自然,产品形状复杂,或者产品价值昂贵,产品公差要求高,那么就需要进行更多次的检测。
NC-Checker可保存每台机床的检测结果,这样可追溯每台机床的历史,及时发现因长期机床运转而导致的任何机床精度问题,便于及时安排机床的维护,从而避免任何因机床精度问题而导致的零件精度超标问题的出现。

Delcam launches NC-Checker for machine tool verification
Delcam has launched NC-Checker, a new program to undertake in-process verification of the performance of a wide range of commonly-used machine tools. NC-Checker provides a quick and easy way to confirm the accuracy of the machine with standard probing equipment. It can be used before machining starts to confirm that the equipment has been set up correctly and then applied during the production run to detect any movements out of tolerance that might have been caused by, for example, wear or temperature changes. The user must first use NC-Checker to calibrate the probe and the machine tool setup against a known artefact, normally a sphere or a set of three spheres. The software then generates a series of probing and performance tests for regular use to ensure that the machine is operating as it should. This process takes many more measurements than are typically used for checks with a macro on the machine tool control and so offers much greater confidence in the results obtained. The NC-Checker test routine can be applied at various stages during a production run. The frequency that is needed will vary depending on the value of the parts, the complexity of the shapes and the accuracy that is required. Clearly, more regular checks will be needed when producing more expensive or more complex components with stricter tolerances. All the results can be archived to provide a traceable history of the performance of each machine. Any deterioration in performance over time can be detected, possibly signalling the need to schedule maintenance work, even before any out-of-tolerance parts have been produced. NC-Checker can also be used after any problems in machining, such as might result from a tool breakage or from a collision with a part that has been loaded incorrectly. It can again provide a quick confirmation on whether or not the production run can continue with high confidence in the quality and accuracy of the finished parts.
